The Feeling of
Financial Security
With a proactive approach to your finances and a dedicated partner, we can significantly reduce anxiety and instability.
Building confidence with knowledge (and an empathic expert in your corner!).
Two Paths of Partnership:
Our aim is to meet varying levels of need with two types of services.
After That:
You'll manage and implement your plan, or have the option to work together in THE Long-Term.
What can we talk about?
How much do I owe in taxes?
How much do I need each month to cover expenses?
How much should I save?
How do I bridge the gap between jobs?
How do I maximize my union benefits?
( plus all the typical topics, like retirement, investment advice, home buying, saving for your child's education, and more )
The Initial Work:
Getting Acquainted
We'll have an intro meeting (it's free) and talk through your situation to see if we'd be a good fit.
Discovery + Planning
We'll align your goals and vision, review your accounts and talk through important topics to develop a plan unique to you.
Common Q's
While this is a personal decision for you to make, we hope to make it easier by offering thoughts to consider.
A good planner can handle financial situations for you, and provide personalized suggestions that can provide significant savings both in taxes and in other major life decisions (such as buying a home or planning for a child's education).
They can also help to formulate realistic budgeting and bring structure, which can have a big impact on your feeling of control over your finances.
If you're unsure, best thing to do? Reach out and have a conversation! It's free, has no obligation, and can give you a sense of how it might benefit you and your family.
Of course! While our firm specializes on the challenges and issues facing creatives with a mix of W2 and 1099 incomes, we are experienced with more traditional W2 workers, as well as the wide variety of corporate compensation packages.
Our advice and work will be tailored to your individual and collective goals, to provide the best possible guidance for your needs.
Our fees tend to be assessed based on the complexity of your situation. We can provide an accurate estimate after having a free intro chat (schedule that here).
If you're concerned about affordability, reach out to us, and we can see what's possible.
Yes! Whether you're brand new to investing, have questions or concerns, or are currently investing, we'll review everything, answer your questions, and give you individualized advice.
We can manage your assets or just advise you on best practices for your goals and needs.

Why Us?
We're part of the community.
The Financial Grove was founded by a theater producer, creative director, and passionate supporter of the arts. The firm is committed to serving and supporting the community she loves.
We're fee-only.
Financial advice shouldn't be driven by hidden agendas, conflicts of interest, or commissions. We are paid only for the advice we give, and as a fiduciary we commit to serving your needs, only.
We value your work, deeply.
We believe that stories are the most powerful way to change minds and reach people. To evoke empathy and captivate us.
Our purpose as a firm is to support you in telling stories, the way you want to.
